Hello Stereo Tool world, It's been a while since I posted on here. I posted a few presets here and there but since then I have been busy with life. Here are some 5 band presets I made. I encourage yall to give me your honest feedback, even if you think the presets suck. Feel free to tweak to your tastes. You can also post your edits AS LONG AS I AM CREDITED. These are budget friendly presets, and the only paid feature included on the presets is the Advanced Clipper, and does not affect the overall sound if turned off. The loudness is driven by the simple clipper rather than the advanced one to keep the same amount of loudness if AC is on or off. Presets included: Regular Open Dense LOUD BASS Smoothe (I will follow up with the rest of the presets)

The DN5 Open preset is, as I’ve already mentioned, an excellent preset. It handles rock and metal genres very well, and doesn’t crush songs that have a lot of dynamics and space. I’m not using FM broadcasting — my station streams only online. I’m a bit concerned that the preset might be a little too loud for long-term listening on headphones. How can I reduce the loudness without losing the character and tonal balance of the preset? |
