Opus is one of the better audio codecs today, and is the successor to Vorbis and Speex. It also has widespread decoding support, including on Android, macOS and iOS, making it a great one stop shop for relatively low bitrate streams that compete strongly against AAC. It's also open source and royalty free, which perhaps aids in implementing it. Could you please consider adding Opus as an encoder in the Streaming Outputs feature? |
