Is there a possibility to add some sensitivity to the equalizer? I feel like dragging the sliders one pixel up or down has too much effect on it. Maybe add a functionality such that when you hold shift, the sliders are only pulled up/down only a fraction of your mouse movement? Or just make the sliders longer (which would probably result in having to put it in a new window?

I know that using the arrow keys on the keyboard really fine-tunes it, but that takes forever to get it at a value you want.

Just an idea...

You can use the cursor keys to move up and down. Select a slider, then use up/down.

This works for any slider in Stereo Tool, not just these.

i think Kakoon was thinking on smaller and biger steps.

Anyway, Keybord cursors are 0.17 - 0.20dB and PageUp and PageDwn are 7dB. This is maybe too much.
