Hey guys,

I don’t try to chase other audio processors overall sound but I try to figure out how Stereo Tool could create a very similar image for hights like Breakway One.

When you listen this channel which uses Breakaway one
- lots of highs exist which is going against the main rule in online streaming: less hights are always better
- doesn’t loose the sparkle highs at limiting
- when I try to limit hights in ST, the highs just loose their sparkle.

We are talking about online streaming!

Could you please guide me how can I achieve not same but similar, consistent hights with ST?

Many thanks, I really appreciate any input on this topic!

You cant, but you can get close. BaO uses precise done highs limiting in Final limiter, also using few more tricks to make them "pop".
Also MB limiters in BaO (and other same engine processors) are very fast in same time. MB limiters in ST are at best about 5 times slower, (without distorting) for example. So, BaO will have much less pumping from MB limiter while they are more precise is same time.

You can try to get close. In old MB try to set limiters speed under 1ms (~0.8). It will distort on solo, but you might not hear it in whole audio. In new MB, that new limiter attack 0.5ms release 5ms
Make sure Highs clipper is set to no more then -0.7 to 0.0. Use sane tresholds.

btw, that stream is not processed with BaO, also very bad preset.
