I've upgraded one of our sites to uMPX 4.2.6. It is working fine, but the icon in the Windows tray is orange. On all previous versions this indicated there was a problem, and that it should be blue if streaming correctly. Anyone else got this problem? I find this feature really useful, so much so, I'll probably rollback to 4.2.4 if it cannot be fixed (I wasn't aware of v4.2.5!) |

Ah, this appears to be a bug. It's supposed to be fixed in the latest betas and the upcoming release, however. |

Thanks. By coincidence started getting occasional dropouts since the upgrade. I doubt it's the software, but I have diagnostics to see if it is coincidental network issue! |

I've now proved it's not the uMPX software (by rolling back to 4.2.4), but still getting strange dropouts depite e2e ping connectivity being fine. I am pinging the local router, google, and the remote uMPX encoder and not a single dropped ping (pings every second). So that's a bit of a mystery. It says "switching to another stream" before the dropout, despite me selecting one of the streams, not Automatic. I'm now trying it on automatic. I guess I need to open a new thread for help! |
