Hey!

I'm working on 10.30, and noticed quite a while ago that delossifier seems not to be working in a standalone instance of ST. Using the exact same preset on the same material in a DAW with a VST version of ST, however, kicks it off normally and it looks to be processing.

Unsure whether it is a purely visual bug, or a calculation one, but I'm getting the feeling things do sound better in the VST instance when testing recorded programme that's using 256kbps .mp3 files.

Cheers,
Niv

EDIT: Correction, to be precise it's MPEG detection:

Hi, this can be caused by a few things:
- Analog input might be too noisy to detect MP3's
- Windows resampling can also cause MP3's to no longer be detected

Your graph really doesn't look like the input was an MP3. The audio runs all the way to the top, and there are no gaps visible.

I forgot to mention: Those issues that I described would also cause worse audio.

Hey Hans,

Ah sorry for the screenshot. Indeed I picked a wrong moment for it, with speech from the studio comming

My soundcard and VB Cable are set to 48khz, but for some reason ST was 44.1khz. I converted the file to 48khz to make sure, changed the sample rate in ST, and MPEG Detection kicked off :)

Thanks for help!
