I've been using Stereo Tool for 6 months or so now (it gives me broadcast processing on a Mac!!). I thought I'd put together a few presets together with sample audio using different genres. https://tdcat.com/stereotool - You can find them here if you feel like either just taking a listen or downloading the presets and trying them yourself. They're not anything special as they're based on presets already in the tool with quite a few adjustments to my taste. I'm no expert in this as I'm sure many people on this forum are but I think it shows off how versatile the tool is. I've found the VST does not work in many tools but is happy in Reaper which is what I used here. Thanks, Torsten. |

Thanks for trying it out. I'm happy with how it handles most of the content I would use. |

Hi Torsten, I'm trying out youre presets. They are almost perfect for my needs (encode music for listening in car, so I want an even perceived volume for all songs, from classical to pop to metal) but for some songs, at the beginning, the volume rise is audible. A song I use for reference is Iron Maiden's Moonchild, with an acoustic intro. The volume rises and then stabilises. I tried all your four presets but this problem is common. Is there a way to tweak the settings (it should be the AGC) and solve this problem? Thanks a lot, Adam |
