I'm using Stereo Tool with RadioBOSS for my web radio, I sometimes saturate slightly on the kicks, how do I adjust Stereo Tool to avoid this ? |

Hi. I'm not great at designing Stereo Tool presets, but I believe the filter you're looking for is the Bass Clipper. Try enabling it and turning down the Threshold a bit. Or you can reduce the Natural Dynamics effect if that's on. There's also the bass band windowing in the AGC. edit: Perhaps you could try the Sub Bass Boost effect (a sub compressor; part of the True Bass filter) as well as turn down your overall bass to compensate. If any of these are poor advice, please say something. |

Depend what kicks we are talking about. I would go to MB and choose desired band and limit to desired level, then play with Limiter speed so you find edge of distortion. |
