I tried limitting / clipping the 15000 kHz or 16000 kHz in multiband 1 settings but the audio quality is horrible. Im using Loud and Clear preset. Any ideas?
The track is Prince - Its Gonna be (so) Lonely

i can't find the band you are talking about.

i go to processing > multiband 1 > limit/clip > [i have 4 bands: 68hz | 350hz | 1410hz | 4520hz | 9540hz] -> and i tried to limit the 9540hz band to -3.5db but the "ssss" distortion is still there. Do you guys have any clue? Is it natural dynamics that does this? Thanks!

That was for his specific preset. We don't know your preset.

i use "Hans van Zutphen & Mathjis Vos - Duch Moose Fm (50μs)" with some little changes mainly to increase low frequencies on the clipping side of the preset. I have also changed auto eq band 9540 to relative target: -11.70 & max cut at -7.0db & max boost +2.5db. Also on the noise gate side: total noise level:-40db Everything else is the same.

Thanks!

If you want to really deal with siblances, then you could make use of the Advanced Clipper's de-esser, in conjunction with the Multiband Compressor.
You will need to modify the amount of bands in the Multiband Compressor to suit the needs of your specific case.
This is the best option unless you're already planning to use both multiband compressors heavily.

A different option is to use side chain settings on the Single Band Compressor, but as you could guess, this is a single band, wide band compressor and will compress all sound when the de-essing happens.

Let us know exactly how your settings look now and what you changed. You can try taking screenshots, and attach them here.
