Probably the least expensive transmitter you can legally use in the US would be the BW Broadcast line. Current versions include web interface, FSK ID-ing for translators and built-in processing, all of which increase the value of the brand. You won't be using the analog and digital inputs, and built-in stereo generator, but those are also features the transmitters come with. Some have questioned the reliability of earlier versions of the equipment, and you could certainly find more robust rigs at higher prices. However, I have quite a few of them in the circuits I care for, and have had very little trouble with them overall. |

Since you dont say anything about range, here is a $19.95 fun little thingi that works perfectly from a mpx output; http://electronics-diy.com/product_deta ... %20Booster I've used this from both Stereotool and from an Optimod. It will drift a bit since there aint no ppl lock on it. If you want to go up a few steps, heres another thingi I also have on my shelf: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tugicom-TX180A ... 2749.l2649 MrDonT |

Got experience with both, I would'nt have postet otherwhise. For 20 $ you get transistors and no ICs with limitations, expect distortions, but it works. The israel produkt works too if you stay within the limits, power, antenna etc, but it got limitations since theres ICs to it. Aint no Nautel, RVR or BW stuff, but hey, you get what you pay for ![]() regards, MrDonT |
