Hello All,

I pulled apart an 8600 preset I ran on 4SSS - Mix 92.7 on the sunshine coast Australia when I was the Engineer there.

I have tried to put it into stereo tool.. this is my first attempt, feel free to have a play and reshare

I have attached the Orban preset file if anybody else would like to have a go.

Update -- 6/9/24 with Adaptive AGC
Gain Structure updated to suit

Add your own herbs and spices to suit

Transmitter: Nautel NV5LT

The receiver was approx 1116km away and received during a ES event

I think it is very close to the original, especially with latency at 2048, 1024

Thanks ag777... its still a work in progress.

There are a few things on the Orban which dont translate to ST

Did some improvements to the 8600 based preset.

Its loud but sounds open. well it does on my speakers which are Adam Audio T7V's reference monitors

Amazing! That sounds a lot like AFN Frankfurt (Z-97.7 FM) in the early 1990s. Absolutely love it!

Hello there!

The preset sounds clean and balanced for such little processing. Good job! The only complaint I have are the sudden bursts of gain. I thing the AGC settings need further tweaking for constant volume on any audio material.

Made some changes to the AGC and Dynamics

I'm still using the philosophy that less is more!

Was bored so went back to this preset and added a HF Enhancer using 1 channels of natural dynamics.

Gives it that nice sparkle.. a bit like what Orban call Brilliance
