hi i can't configure the stereo tools with simlecast !!
the simle cast works fine when i check the main sound card (realtek )for input , but when i check the ESI MAYA 44 OUTPUT not responding and pop up this mesage : problem creating record hadle ( error 32 ) recording device might be in use.

i play music with jazler and output card the realtek then in s.t. i make the input card the realtek and output maya 3,4 chanel . everything works fine in my amplifier but when i try to conect with simplecast i have this problem .

??? can anybody helps ?

Does this also happen if Stereo Tool is not running? Because then it's a SimpleCast issue, and I have no experience with SimpleCast (maybe someone else here does - but you'll have a much better chance of getting the issue solved on a SimpleCast forum, assuming that that exists).

If it does NOT happen when Stereo Tool is not running, and also not when you directly send the sound from Jazler to the Maya card, then Stereo Tool comes into the equation.

That can happen if the sample rate of VAC differs from that of the sound card. Say VAC runs at 44.099 kHz and the sound card at 44.101 kHz, then you loose 2 samples per second (for bigger differences you loose more, of course).

Check the buffer filling in Stereo Tool, if it gets too full (blackbar appears) or too empty (blue runs out), configure VAC to run slightly slower or faster.

I make some test with VAC and now works except some annoyingly clicks and pops when i listen the radio. (only on radio )

You can listen here and if anybody knows please tell me !! http://www.vanillavibe.gr

*** now i play only from centova so no s.t. ( 17.4.12.)

Hi George..
Yes there are pops and clicks. I can suggest you to try..

- Try to set fixed Samplerate in VAC, (from 44100 to 44100) and (16 to 16 bit), NC 1/2 MS per Int "1"
- Try both versions of VAC, 4.09 and 4.10. There are some differences between them so check what suit for you.
- Watch buffer in ST, should be not moving up or down. If rizes or falls after some time use "Clock corr.ection." in VAC to compesate sample rate mismatch.
- Ofcourse, CPU usage should be not high.

What do you use for streaming? EdCast?
Stream Audio level is about -5dB .. so you can rize it.
