It works, all sound is processed and all is good except for the fact that with ST, I have to have a 1 second delay before the processed sound can be outputted through my soundcard. Why is this? I try to reduce it to 0.002 seconds in the output section of the sound configuration of ST but it just makes a stuttering noise when sound is played. Is this because of my soundcard? My VAC settings? Because with the same ST settings in Winamp there's no delay. If there's a way around this it'd be great because then I could watch YouTube and other videos online with ST's great processed sound. 1 whole second is a lot - 0.002 seconds is very short. Don't in-between values work? Except for that, Windows audio processing causes a delay of approx. 300 ms, which probably happens twice if you use VAC (once for VAC, then once for the actual sound card). |
