Post subject:  what does the quality setting do on stereo tool? (cpu load)

can someone tell me what the quality setting do in stereo tool...
the one just below the latency and just above screen update, settings.

you can move the slider left or right and it will turn red as you move it to the left... what affect on sound does this have.? i don't seem to hear any difference. thanks.

ok I got my answer from hans...

The CPU load gets lower, sound gets less good (especially very low bass)...

In HQ I have more treble, the sound is more "open" and the stereo enlarges depth and space but its only my sensation...
