Post subject:  Limiting processed signal to 0 dB

Hello guys,

I just loaded a new .sts-file containing a fine 80's sound. But with this preset in use, the processed signal partly peaks over 0 dB which is not the case with some of my older presets.

Where may I activate/adjust, that the overall signal in the end doesn't exceed the 0 dB level?

I'm using Stereo Tool version 9.22 as a direct x plugin with adobe audition CC.

Thank you.

Greetings,

Dirk

Open Stereo Tool then go to the Clipping and Limiting tab and make sure hard limiting is checked. If you want to give your track some headroom and not have it go all the way to zero, just lower the Post amplifier volume and your done.
