I thinking of buying the basic version for a backup LPFM transmitter. The BW transmitter already has the USA 75 uS pre-emphasis option included with the transmitter. I'm only using mono (no stereo). Will be the basic version work along with the transmitter pre-emphasis? I noticed that the standard version has the pre-emphasis included but not the basic version. Ray |

Normally you would want to disable the pre-emphasis option on your transmitter and allow Stereo Tool to manage that, however you can disable pre-emphasis in Stereo Tool. This won't work, because the clipper needs to take pre-emphasis into account. So you can do this, but the signal going onto the air will be completely uncontrolled. |
