What is 4x?
I'm guessing 4x oversampling, but I could be wrong as there isn't a tool tip.

Just to post the answer here, yes, it's 4X oversampling. If you display StereoTool Full Screen (which isn't actually "Full Monitor" but rather a larger window), some buttons such as this one widen to support longer text; this button's text changes to say "4X oversampling".
