First Hello Hans ,
I saw That a person have same problem with Stable low speeds volume level.
SO Here is My opinion . We have Input with first PRE-AMP, OK . Second We have PRELIMITER Section With UP Speed and DOWN divide speed (Divided in to bands (LOW`s and HIGH`s), OK
Now when the song plays and the BASS stops , it louds the volume ( I mean The PRELIMITER) and when the bass comes back the volume isn`t fall back and couple of peaks causes a PREDEVIATION shown on the receiver monitor even when the Down speed is at HI level ( I mean very Hi level like 0.500) . So Here is the Right Schem for Me . WE still HAve the input PREAMP , But the PRELIMITER must be as follows:
rebuild like ONE BAND (like single band compressor/limiter added) , but before 10 band limiter/compressor , not after . This PRELIMITER must have Automatic HI speed louder and divider (NOT adjustable) . Adjustabe must be the LEVEL ( say levels from -10db to +10db slider) .
Now we have following : If the song from input is -3db RMS level and amplified 5 times by the PREAMP then PRELIMITER must auto control the RMS level to 0db . The same result must be with song that have 0++db level . I mean the UP speed and DOWN speed for the PRELIMITER are not required. All required is ONE automatic HI speed adjustable Leveler (RMS leveler with constant output of 0 db whatever the input level is. OR the simplest way is to make the PREAMP AUTOMATIC with output 0db constant. "REMOVE LOUD PEAKS" Not work As expected.
The level for limiting by the multiband must be CONSTANT not variable like it seems .I hope you understand me right because this soft is working on PC , and the sound must be strongly limited level (It`s a PC , not any analog limiters compressors ..filters and so on ) .The analog devices never reach digital accuracy of filtering , leveling , limiting ....ect . If this problem is solved this software becomes the highest fidelity of FM Stereo sound ON AIR . I`ve tested all the versions and the sound of latest versions is really clean. Yep... i see version 5.00 coming soon . Hope this time Hans made this correction ( i`ll see) , and destroy all the analog shitty stereos and bla bla bla DSP processors ...that cost a lots of money and do the same thing ....GO Hans ....
