I fail to run ST 8.34 Jack Version on a rpi 3. ST 8.23 runs fine (apart from audible clicks, but that's another topic for later). After starting jackd and ST as root, I get the message "Speicherzugriffsfehler" (sorry, german locale) right after the version banner. If I run ST as pi user, the GUI shows up but cannot connect to Jack (which was run as root). Running both programs as pi user gives "Speicherzugriffsfehler" again Environment: Recently downloaded raspbian image with 4.4 kernel, no updates yet to the image Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 USB sound card |

Please try the 8.36 BETA's. There's a bug in that 8.34 version, unfortunately. I've heard this from more people, so far 2 people who had this error have reported that 8.36 works fine again. Links here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=19224&start=18 |
