I have no system left on which I can test it (haven't had one in the last 10 years)... Can you give me more details? I might have forgotten an #ifdef somewhere... but without further info it will be really hard to find.

8.31 Non-SSE2 build crashes on a XP SP3 non SSE2 system for me. 8.23 doesn't. Didn't get a chance to try anything in between. :\ |

Ow indeed!  Yeah, there may not be a whole lot that can be done here, but here's all the dumps I can get from the crashes. This is with the just released 8.34. Not sure if any of it's useful... (These are all "instant" crashes by the way... they crash instantly before any part of the GUI loads.)
