Hello,

I am getting RED in the final Limiter even though it is turned All the way down! I have tried other settings to see if it is affected and I cannot find any.
Latency is 512.

HELP

Thanks

Anything before could be making the final limiter hit red.
How high is your Pre-Amp, what are your settings for the multiband?
Do you have the AGC on?

I think the Loudness filter also acts before the final limiter so if that's on you're going to get red too.

I only have listen to music, I don't produce or stream or broadcast but i usually allow the final limiter to hit red for those once in a while really loud hits. If its too high my receiver will compensate, or I'll hear a speaker pop so I turn the volume down. lol

If anything enable the "Avoid Distortion" option and pull the slider down to 100%, now you shouldn't have any red at all but the final sound is going to be clipped a lot. (I usually feel like this causes a lot of loss in the higher frequencies)

And latency shouldn't affect your final limiter. I have it at 4096, sounds awesome :3

Is it light red or dark red? Light red shouldn't be a problem, the final limiter is designed to be able to handle short bursts of sound. If it's dark red (the dark bar indicates the average volume over a longer period of time), still if that happens occasionally it's not that bad, but if it happens a lot of times you should probably lower the volume a bit.

By the way: Loudness is placed AFTER the Final Limiter, so red or not red is not affected by it.
