When using the loudness filter, at start of some songs i get a 'crackling' noise like it just appears in songs, even on some of the presets like fm transmitter europe soft with the loudness at 2.30 it makes crackling, i have to reduce it down to like 1.70 but it does go quieter for obvious reasons but also removes this crackling from songs, is there any filters to remove this crackling noise aswell as maintain the loudness? matt. |

Welcome Matt, Can you describe the crackling sound? Is it a click, or a sort of tone that plays before a loud sound kicks in? Or something else? If it's the latter, it will be fixed in the next Stereo Tool version that I'm currently working on. If it's a click, can you try what happens when you disable "Clear buffer if no data arrives for" in the "Configure audio and display" window? |
