Does anyone like the effect of the "Softness" slider? If I don't get any responses from people that like it I'll remove it again. (It makes the attack faster, so it's basically the same thing as the attack multiplier, but in layman's terms).

Other question: Here's my suggestion for settings that should be available in the main window. So basically, this is what a novice user would see if he stays at the Processing screen. Am I missing anything?

Pre Amp / Post Amp
Density / Aggressiveness / Loudness
Stereo Boost strength
RDA TA (with current RDS text display)

So not included are things like AGC settings, noise gate settings, bass boost.

BETA063:
Stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 04-063.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 04-063.exe
VST: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 04-063.dll

DONE:
- Maybe also adjust Limiter levels to 'Density' slider setting. -> Yes, really sounds better
- Updated main window -> Feedback please!
- Removed 'Softness' sliders again -> I'll put it back if I get a response that someone liked it...

TODO:
- Update "main" processing window
- Finish: Multiband/Singleband compressors: Is Basic mode good? Or should that be simpler, and more settings only visible in Advanced mode?
- Try adding negative values to Density slider
- Maybe make Monitor button smaller
- Make 6 dB lines in meters more prominent
- Hide Median display?
- Update/Order presets Still waiting for some updates...
- Change version number
- Check/update default declipper settings (JesseG/bojcha edits)
- Release

Again .... what is the problem with the "bands" crossover display ? It consumes a HUGE CPU power when mouse goes over it.
On the other hand .. sliders are Ok now i think.
Just few GUI tweaks :
1. "Speeds" - give "Freq" some more space (to fit the whole word Frequency) and take this space from the "Monitor" options.. it`s to large now there .
2. Same for "levels" window
3. Same for "Detection" window
4. Try same for the "Burst protection" window

5. Multiband main window: some changes of places
- Bands below Main
- Flat freq response below Bands
- Band coupling below Main levels
- Quick adjust below Bands and Flat freq response
- More space for the display levels in the main MB window and for the Monitor .

Suggestion for the Median : for me is useless ( remove it )
And make the MB levels display to have static -14 db red (or else) lines real level to be like in the MPXTool ITU BS level .
These are the good tweaks from me .

Something that may be don`t surprise you : I very often have mouse go away from the slider that i adjust .... it goes to the down side of GUI and every time i turn it back to the slider :)

Is it possible to implement a negative value / multiplier below 1 on the new 'Density' slider?
Correct me if I'm wrong but presets that are already working the MB hard can't be tamed down by using this slider at present?

I think you should keep it, at least leave it in the "Extreme Tweaker" interface. More is better for Extreme Tweakers :)
