Bojcha,

Based on the 5200 on both CPU's I would expect them to behave similarly... I have an idea what could cause this, tomorrow I'll create a version with some extra logging to check this (I don't have an AMD system here so I can't check it myself).

Which Windows version are you using? If it's WinXP, I can just write some data to C:\st.log - if you're using Vista you need to give me a directory name where I have write permission...

No updates today - it was "come to work on your bike" day today and I did... Anyway, after riding my bike for almost 2:30 hours to get there (I got lost on the way, because I had to follow a different route :o ) and 1:45 to get back home, I didn't really feel like working on Stereo Tool anymore for today... :(

I still have a todo list that contains the following items:
- Display timing does not work properly when FM output is turned on
- Add "TA" (Traffic Announcement) button on main screen - very handy during FM radio broadcasts
- Add singleband compressor to limiting/loudness window
- Add low CPU pre-limiter filter to limiting/loudness window (the same thing that I used in version 3.40)
- Possible small loudness quality improvement
- Noise reduction window: Make the amount of noise configurable per frequency band
- Update presets for better quality, and probably add a few presets. I'll check the forums for good user presets, add a category for those, and ask for permission for the presets that I want to add. (Of course the name will contain the name of the maker of the preset).

If I'm missing anything please let me know...

Minor update:
- Font slightly improved
- Reset / Load / Save buttons moved to new interface
- Name of last selected preset is displayed in the preset button when it's closed.

nice list..
last days i fixed my FM preset and now we gonna have single band compressor, new loudnes .... heh .. i must try all that again :D
If possible, my suggestion is for some RDS new functions, like:
- possibility to show ClockTime and date in PS Text
- Kind of Scheduler for PS text (e.g. set what message will go in what part of day)
- if possible to fix problem in radio text (program not waiting to whole message go on radio text if time for that message expired)
- other RDS improvement

Hi Bojcha,

Don't worry about the changes - you don't HAVE to use the singleband compressor (someone asked for it to get a constant loudness while maintaining the original relative frequency levels), and in the new interface I have room to add it - that's all), and the Loudness changes will probably have no effect at all (if you don't turn the final limiter on, you get distortion in the Loudness filter now, and that would be solved. But that has no effect if the final limiter is used. And MAYBE I can also make softer sounds sound a bit cleaner, but I don't know if that's really the case (they might in fact get worse)).

About the RDS functions: I will add some of those, but not in the next release (it will take too long).
Clock time and date should be easy.
Scheduler: Right now you can include files on your hard disk, and generate those from other applications (for example, if you use SAM and a program starts, you could let SAM write the name of the program to a file and include that file in the RDS data.) I know it's not the easiest solution - but adding a scheduler is a lot of work so don't expect it to be there soon...

What is the problem with RadioText? (I don't have a radio that supports it, so I cannot test it... So please explain what's wrong).

By the way, if you have a good preset, post it here somewhere and I'll consider it for inclusion in the new version :-)
