BETA055:PROBABLY DONE:
- Median display issue Probably fixed... But I haven't seen it happen yet so I'm not sure.
Fixed issue where it appeared more than one line of the median per band. ;)

I think they should shorten the time history for the calculation of the median, as it is very noticeable when some band somewhere track down too and the next you do not, the median line remains above average. More remarkable still pause the track and see that very occasionally a low median line any band.

No, this thing shows the level of each band over 'all time'! That's the whole point of it, on average over the whole hour/day/week/..., all the levels should be roughly equal.

What do you mean by that?

That is the way the one in the "Classic" multiband worked. I could confirm that behavior, if it were there... ;)

Mmm ... I think it can also be helpful, but it would be helpful if you can see the average gain reduction of more short-term band (which also restarting the median, you could get this ...)

I meant when suddenly no audio in and median lines stay where they were. But with your explanation, I understand why this happens.
It was not clear that this is a medium to long term, at least for me. :|

BETA056:
Stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 04-056.exe
Other versions not available for now (will be tonight).
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 04-056.exe
VST: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 04-056.dll

Reason for posting: MB limiters now also respond to coupling!

DONE:
- Add chain optimization (%) again
- Some default logical Band crossover settings for MB (every number of bands). Best way is probably to ask if defaults should be loaded when changing number of bands, with a 'don't ask again' checkbox. And of course after changing you can always use right click to reset each slider.
- Check new MB limiters and compressors: Optimize to reduce low frequency artifacts. AWAITING FEEDBACK.

TODO:
- Convert low latency monitoring output to use new filters
- Band coupling broken
- More than 6 bands no audio (station-drz)
- Crash reported by Christian Steifen: If you change to a different category and quickly change something it crashes (VST version). Unable to reproduce, waiting for feedback - was this with BETA054?
- Multiband compressor: Differentiate between Basic/Advanced/Extreme... modes
- Singleband Compressor: Differentiate between Basic/Advanced/Extreme... modes
- Update presets
- Change version number
- Release

Really? I tested it and the output was identical as long as there was no limiting... Will check tonight.
