Shadow in the output is from wave shaking :) from my video already show you.
Just discovered that additional bass "shaking" also comes from EQ :|
That is why I didn't allow it to be steeper before... There is a bug in the singleband compressors (in AGC and final) that causes huge volume jumps in some cases, I want to fix that today. --> Edit: No, I cannot reproduce it anymore and the code also looks good. Weird......

On the other hand, Framewave could be absolutely horrific. The thing is though, without trying, there's no way to know.
I know I looked at benchmarks before I went for IPP, unfortunately the site with those benchmarks appears to be down at the moment.

I did find this (I know it's old, but it doesn't look promising at all):

Test like all versions. generator-> virtual cable-> ST
It`s the Stand Alone version... tested beta 53 and no any of this! but beta 54 is like the picture.
Yeah it`s horrible .
Here is the beta53 .. Clean !
P.S: Shadow in the output is from wave shaking :) from my video already show you.
It works fine here... Could you check the CPU load? Just to make sure that it's not something in the communication between VAC and Stereo Tool etc?

Combined with the remark from bschelst that he gets silence when using it for normal output, something might also be crashing internally... (But unfortunately not on my system, grr.....)

For the band freqs per number of bands: I think I'll make something where if you change the # bands, you get a popup asking whether you want to load default values for that number.

Hans , everything is fine with the CPU load (average 27-29 %) like is normal .. beta 53 and beta54 with equal tests and schematic of the test. I`m sure that in your system this is not appear, otherwise you will not post this version . But checked also the virtual cable state: No Uflows or Oflows... till signal is through the cable ( everything looks normal ) . i wondered of this effect because i felt it around the music and was shocked ?!? Other implementations are just in place but i don`t know why you don`t see this effect on your system . And may be others too.
Looks like no one is seeing this in beta54 .. Bojcha , Brian, ..others..
WOW... Also check this one : without the "synch to output" where this "buzz" appears - it looks like this: Some phase diff is appear. Phase in the input is 0 deg. Also if i disable the MB this in the yellow disappears. When put coupling to 100% this one in the yellow "circle" is rising up.
In beta 53 everything looks OK.

I'll compare the code against the previous version, and I'll build a version where I disabled one optimization that I'm not trusting 100% now (especially now that you see a phase difference).

I have built a debug version of the stand alone version and I'm getting several crashes. At very, very strange places. So something is definitely wrong, and this might explain multiple issues.

No, i am wrong.. it's not EQ.. it's first band in MB clipper/limiter.

Yes Bojcha :)
I know is from there , i make the video and tell Hans some time ago. I know for this issue nearly about 3-4 months ago.
Now i see that Hans got the issue i tell him with the pictures! So don`t worry Bojcha , he will fix them one by one. Also we are helping .
