Quote: Quote: Bandpass filter order = how steep the slopes are. So you can set it higher if you need very steep slopes, or lower if you don't really care. Steeper slopes = more phase difference.
I've added saving the setting (apparently I forgot that in version 6.10?) to the todo list. Does this only affect the order of the bandpass filter? If I check the 2nd order filter which should only go down 12dB per octave it already looks extreemly steep. Ahh ok it is only for the highpass filter. so not the lowpass. Hans which kind of filtering did you use for the lowpass ? |

Nothing big, except about ~20% faster under Linux... Nothing big, but the 2 issues with settings that were reported are fixed now (highpass order is saved, final limit setting is not changed anymore by doing things in other windows). And I've added a new option to the declipper: You can now let samples be marked as NOT clipped if there are higher samples on both sides - the margin for this can be specified. This was intended to fix the loud bass sound issue but it doesn't fix it, but it might still improve things a bit by reducing unnecessary declipping. What version do you use, i don't get the message with the stand alone version. If you get it with that version then best is to contact Hans about it. |
