Does't happen always.. i am tweaking preset, eu4ria, and reaload it via 'recent' when i want do discard settings... and it happens once out of 20-30 loading times. Preset uses 0.67 singleband thresh. It needs about 3-5 seconds to settle down. |

I posted an update to Cobalt in the share section. It has declipper enabled.
![]() Tomorrow I'll process any preset updates and build a 7.01 release. |

There's no upgrade price, all license (even those bought for version 3) still work. So just install the new version ![]() ![]() |

I have some funny stuff going on in BS412. Whatever I feed it, it slowly oscillates. Playing ABBA's Gimme, gimme, gimme in 6.32: ![]() Playing the same tune through 7.01 beta 3 with all settings the same: ![]() A pure 440 Hz sine wave in 6.32, flat-line as expected: ![]() But the sine wave too oscillates slowly in 7.01B3: ![]() Thoughts? -- Ragnar

Found it. I'll try to fix it asap, will give you a workaround for now.The problem occurs in the following situation: - Pre-emphasis enabled, but pre-emphasize output disabled - Using FM sound card What you can do for now: - Use Normal output (or if you use Stereo Tool as a plugin, the audio coming through the host program) - Enable pre-emhpasize output. But I suppose there is a reason why you don't. |

Edit: BS412 issue should be fixed now. Problem was that the filter expected audio at 44.1 kHz but because 'direct sound card access' was enabled it got 176.4 kHz instead - 4 times as much data. Meaning that adjustments seemed to work at 1/4th of the actual response times. |

Uh-ow. I just discovered that my VST version fix may have other unwanted effects. I'll have to restore some 'bad' code for performance reasons. I just hope that things will keep working... (If not I need to use a different implementation for VST and other interfaces). Edit: Looking good. Tested in Winamp, Reaper, VST_Scanner, VST Host DSP, dBpoweramp, Sound Forge Pro. |

Thanks for the swift response!I'm running Stereo Tool standalone. The transmitter I run these settings on does pre-emphasize and stereo encoding on it's own. But it doesn't handle strong highs too well, so I want to protect it from clipping. That's why I have enabled the FM processing. -- Ragnar |
