List of reported bugs:
- AM support doesn't work properly: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5512&p=24635#p24635 FIXED
- Not possible to combine non-ASIO with ASIO NOT CONFIRMED
- Jack support in Linux NOT TESTED BUT LINUX CRASH CAME FROM OTHER CAUSE
- Dotted area in ASIO input buffer (GUI only) TO BE FIXED
- Crash in 64 bit VST plugin in compressor -> very unclear what's happening, waiting for feedback on this new version.
- Hangup with Marian Windows 7 driver: Still busy attempting to pinpoint the cause. It appears that the optimized code which returns a lot faster is causing problems with the Marian driver. Possible solution: Unoptimize the code... Or wait for Marian to come with a fix.

Something went wrong with that build, but I have not received any complaints about it. So I thought it wasn't so important.

What I have found with both final 7.41 and with the 7.42 Beta is that when I start ST I have no Normal Output buffer showing but this doesn't cause any problems with the Normal Output audio, it plays like there is plenty of buffer, no stuttering. When I Restart Sound Cards the buffer shows up in Green about one third the width of the buffer display.

I am using Juli@ 44.1 Normal Output.

Why when i start ST after a period of time the memory load is reduced about a half of it. When started is about 120 000 kB and then it becomes about 52 000 kB ? This is not normal in my opinion .

Windows might at some point decide that memory that is never used can be discarded. I'm not 100% sure, but does this happen if the pc is doing nothing at all and there is plenty of memory available, or only when you're doing other things on the same pc?

I think there is a lot of memory and this happens even on fresh restart of the system .
May be is the improve that you mention . Others reported too that memory is about 60 mb less? But why it start with full memory and then to cut the half of it ? You say that this improve is added back.

Yes i`m not saying that this is happen because of ST, may be is my computer but, i think i see this since some versions ago. Someone else to report this too ?

As you may know I've been in Las Vegas last week. and haven't done too much yet this week, but I wanted to upload a version with one fix (that has been tested the last week by someone who had this issue).

Marian Windows 7 driver hangup fix:
Version 7.41 caused complete system hangups on some systems running Windows 7 with a Marian Trace Alpha card with the Marian driver (and not when using other drivers such as ASIO4ALL), when using ASIO. After doing many tests in the previous weeks, the difference compared to version 7.40 that triggers this behavior appears to be that I cleaned up my code: The code that fetches new input audio from the ASIO driver and sends the new output audio to it is optimized and returns faster, and for some reason on some systems something appears to be going very wrong in the Marian driver. I'm in contact with Marian to drill down to the real cause of this, but for now, I have added a slider with which you can make this specific piece of code run slower. With this new slider set to '4' (that's the only value that has been tested so far), everything seems to work fine.

I don't expect that this has any negative effects for non-Marian users (except for a slightly higher CPU load when this fix is enabled). But you can turn it off if you don't need it.

If you were having this same problem with version 7.41 (I received reports about it from 3 people), you can try this new version:

Windows 32 bit:
