Stereo Tool 9.00 BETA081
THAT we had / have (vst 081 not in yet) but only VERY audible at extreme low input volume, since we don't have low input volumes on stream (wav's trimmmed at -20 for live and fading much earlier) I never heard it like all others here since it was in forever. I identified this phasing as what one of us reported as a "flanger". I could only hear the phasing during testing at foobar at the end of the wav. At this time we of course don't fade and add 1 sec silence at the end to the test wav's.
CHANGES: - Fix Normal Output limiter behavior (phasing sound), must have been broken forever! |

Very good version, thank you very much for this wonderful work. I just have one suggestion, it is to be able to choose where to place the AGC. For exemple before the Auto EQ or Natural Dynamics. Otherwise this version works well, I am on Windows 10 x64 |

ND should always be after declipper and before AGCI just have one suggestion, it is to be able to choose where to place the AGC. For exemple before the Auto EQ or Natural Dynamics. Otherwise this version works well, I am on Windows 10 x64 Auto EQ should always be before AGC so it's ok. |

Ok. I thought that ND worked like a multiband expander (because it reshapes the attacks) and so, could be located after a wideband AGC (or leveler). And the same for auto EQ which, I think, works like a multiband AGC because it optimizes the distribution of low, mid and high frequencies and prepares the work of multiband compressors. That's how I saw things. |

AGC is first thing wich will level things to desired level(s). AGC must know what will pass after it. Declipper, ND and especially AutoEQ can change sound drastically and AGC must be aware of that. IF you want, for example, to pass bass more after AGC there is SC PEQ for that. |

Good evening Hans, I fixed two of the three bugs => translation french concerning the following variables: Input can be compressed (MP3 etc.) Prepare for lossy compression (MP3/AAC/OGG/...) I simply put a line with .0 and 1. for each of the lines ![]() third bug most complex bug to solve concerns these lines: Link N-1->N.0=Lien 4->5 Link N-1->N.1=4->5 Link N-2->N-1.0=Lien 3->4 Link N-2->N-1.1=3->4 the translation does not pass |

If ND is after the AGC, then any level changes (if ND does a lot the level goes up) wouldn't be handled by the AGC anymore. That's how I saw things. For Auto EQ it's more debatable, it doesn't alter the audio level (but it does change the spectrum) so as long as you don't use the AGC side chain it won't matter much. Auto EQ itself ignores audio levels, so for Auto EQ itself it doesn't really matter where it's placed. Given that, feeding the Auto EQ output into the AGC gives the AGC a more "normalized" spectrum, which will lead to better results if you are using a side chain. Which is why it's placed before the AGC. |

Thank you Bojcha and Hans for all these explanations. In any case, the new bass clipper does an extraordinary job. This is for me a real advance in the development of my preset. |
