Yes but how to implement these links? What does 1>2 mean?

1>2 means mix (coupling) between band 1 and 2 .. 2>3 mix between band 2 and 3.. etc...

btw.. that mixing between bands is slightly needed for this MB, to slightly make sweep more flat.

So, 1>2 at 100% means that in band 2 I use the average reduction of band 1 and 2? Of completely band 1? Or do I take the maximum level in the envelope? Or.......? That's what my question is.

I would guess that using the average is the answer.

Also, in case of 1>2 and 2>3, does that mean that 1 affects 3 via 2? (If so I would prefer having a 'band link matrix').

Hm.. same as in compressor L and R.. you need to use higher, more attenuated channel / band, i think.

0% working independent bands.
100% generated bands like gain reduction.

The hard part is in the intermediate values, I think that using the mean of a band over the other as you say may be the way.

Shot with an idea to develop values:

With Coupling (0%):
Band1 = 5 dB reduction
Band2 = 3 dB reduction

With Coupling (30%):
Band1 = 5 dB reduction
Band2 = reduction = 3 + ((5-3) * 0.30) = 3.6 dB (instead of 3 dB)

Orban 8600 has implemented a coupling between bands, but it is unclear as is the implementation, at least I still do not understand more than a functional level.

- Question to both PhantomFM and DRZ: Highs Priority in the Advanced Clipper -> Distortion section is set VERY high, this causes other frequencies to drop if there are loud highs. In many other presets this value is set too low if you ask me (reduces the highs too much), but 30% is really really high - can this be set lower? (Note that they probably need to be set differently for 50 and 75 us preemphasis, and for no preemphasis it probably doesn't matter much).
if the sound does not change much, it seem to be no problem for me hans!

I may have found something better than band coupling. Not 100% sure yet, need to think a bit more. Tomorrow I'm visiting PhantomFM (he was here a few weeks ago and now he's going to show me some other HW interface). Will brainstorm with him tomorrow :)

If it's not see TOO low (say below 4% or so), very slightly less highs. much more constant sound.
