So.... Is the average Joe OK to use this new version, or should we be waiting for these diagnostics to work their way through?
I have pulled it from the download page for now. If it works on your end it's probably fine though.

No issues with the dsp version here.
Runs as expected 24u/7d since release, using Declipper, ND, AGC, Stereo, EQ, MB, Bandpass, Phase rotation, SB and Advanced Clipper.

I've been using it since release running without any issues since that day nonstop for my radio station. I think it depends on if you are having issues than you might want to wait, but for those who aren't (and it seems like most people aren't) I don't see a reason why not. It's not an issue with the quality it's just something to do with a bug in the code if I've been following right. Also it's a bug that only a effects a small amount of people under only certain circumstances. http://avrackradio.webs.com Running it there, and it sounds as good as ever!

Thanks again for all your hard work Hans. Again making music (something I LOVE) even better!

Working fine for me - just a Winamp user though :)

If I have the Advanced Clipper OFF and Simple Clipper OFF, if I click Difference on Simple Clipper screen, I get output. Is that what the Simple Clipper "would remove" if it were enabled, or is it actually enabled at all times?

Yeah, old stuff, but I am effectively unemployed again (employed, but no hours), so no new computer... :|

Edit: This does not happen if the Pre-Limiter is NOT checked. Even though it is greyed out, you can still check it, and then if you also check the Difference button, you hear output. The other fun thing is you can also control the volume if pre-limiter is checked. If Pre-limiter is not checked, nothing happens with the Difference button or the volume slider.

I'm very not sure about ST RDS group content...

What I see from that display is an equal distribution of groups between the PS (0A) and RT (2A) groups, plus the once-per-minute time-carrying 4A group. It'll work fine for general use. Things like PTY, PI and any AFs are embedded in every group, thus they are not impacted by the Group Sequence's ratios.

Creating an RDS Group Sequence (GS) is a bit of an art. Want to emphasis quicker updating (response time) on the main 8-character PS screen? Bias your GS ratio toward 0A, with something like 0A,0A,0A,0A,2A -- especially if you are doing fast PS refresh times of 1.5-2 seconds per word. Want the RT to update faster? Pull the ratio back to something like 0A,0A,2A -- but you should then also slow down your PS refresh times to 3 or even 4 seconds per word or you may risk dropping words on less-than-perfect radios.

It gets trickier if you add more data throughput, for example for RT+ (enhanced artist and title) or extra ODA services like TMC (traffic) or emergency alerting.

Which is what I do, as Chief Engineer of an RDS-based alerting company.

@Doctor_technical: It kinda does that automatically. If the PS text changed it will give more priority to that.

Yes ST dynamic group content is also good idea.
But I prefer 0A 0A 0A 0A 2A fixed for general use, or 0A 0A 0A 2A for dynamic RT.

List of reported bugs:
- AM support doesn't work properly: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5512&p=24635#p24635 FIXED
- Not possible to combine non-ASIO with ASIO NOT CONFIRMED
- Jack support in Linux NOT TESTED BUT LINUX CRASH CAME FROM OTHER CAUSE
- Dotted area in ASIO input buffer (GUI only) TO BE FIXED
- Crash in 64 bit VST plugin in compressor -> very unclear what's happening, waiting for feedback on this new version.
- Hangup with Marian Windows 7 driver: Still busy attempting to pinpoint the cause. It appears that the optimized code which returns a lot faster is causing problems with the Marian driver. Possible solution: Unoptimize the code... Or wait for Marian to come with a fix.
