@ All

Where are you ?

Nothing has happened here for more than three days !?

I hope Hans is not busy, because he wants to remove all this hidden STS non-standard options
(he might consider it as an unwanted bug) :?:
I hope he keeps that hidden STS non-standard options for all future versions.
For example without these options I even could not use a CF structure like ...1500 750 375 187.5 93.75 46.875 with MB (it is impossible to adjust such strict octave scheme via GUI).

@michi95: Working on something that I expect to take a lot more time... But I'll probably release a new version with some bug fixes tonight or tomorrow.

@michi95

Please do not disturb, hans is currently working on the new multiband structure ! :D

No, just kidding....the dutch users have another discussion on another forum wich is frequently used.
So it's not that were playing hide and seek.

If you have nothing to do, you could take a look @ youtube, i have made some FM comparison, just for fun.

Kind regards,

Jeroen Platenkamp.

I want to discuss something that I think is not quite right in ST, regarding the default presets, is that in some moment this was discussed but not yet finish like me.

The presets, when loaded, they have enabled the modules that are not payments (Phase Rotator, DeClipper, Advance Clipper, Pre-emphasis, etc.)

This causes the presets are not loaded with the total configuration, which were adjusted or performed.

Now the question is, if I'm a registered user and I have enabled all processes, because they charge the full preset? and if I am an unregistered user disable everything that can not be used?.

Because I think, if a registered user must enable the processes that are disabled, you can enable it from any origin was not enabled because they wanted some effect or conversely not enable something that if you had to. Since we are not always used for all processes.

So, the end user, when you choose a default preset, not always using it as was done in origin.

I hope I was a little unclear, left open the discussion ... ;)

In my opinion it could be an option to disable presets wich have registered options in use.
So when people register, a bunch of HQ presets also come available.

When the demo version is used, you can only select presets without the registered options.

This is to preserve the presets quality.
In my opinion you can not just disable options, this will mess up the preset and therefore it's quality.
When the options are disabled, the presets should at least be checked if it still sounds the way it supposed to.

Correct me if i am wrong.

Regards,

Jeroen.

I also think it could be some kind of warning when using a preset an unregistered user, warning that the preset quality may be degraded because certain processes will not be enabled ...
