Not yet installed, but that's the idea.

Then you first need RF synchronizers. That stuff is not cheap, and usually bad idea.

@nelson c: It's probably a good idea to open a separate thread for this... It sounds difficult. Is it really necessary to broadcast at the same frequency? Because I have no idea what happens at places where you can receive multiple transmitters at the same frequency but I would guess it's something like extreme multipath distortion. Even if you can get the signal to be in sync at one place it will be completely out-of-sync 1.5 meters further.

Thought it might be a good idea. sounds lovely besides having the same frequency in all cities.
plus I have several disused dipoles (all on the same frequency) and thought to use them.
I think the solution is:
-Modify the dipoles at neighboring frequencies.
-Set the mode RDS Alternative frequencies.

thanks

Where do you live where you can just pick a frequency? Wow.. The spectrum here is nearly completely filled up... And getting any frequency is nearly impossible due to that.

nelson c,
use SSB modes in transmitter, and sync them via fiber optic. It *should* be acceptable, and better than 1 transmitter taking care of all the cities.

Any possibility of putting the removal of the additional processing iterations in the various filters that we discussed the other day into the "TODO" section?

There are multiple GUI lockups and other oddities that I think I'm seeing that you would likely never see because they are CPU load dependent, and you don't have a testbed system that would replicate the conditions seen by 1MB cache systems.

GUI lockups? Please tell me where... And which iteration steps do you mean?

I normally run things in debug mode, a few douzen times slower than the release version...

Stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 33-052.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 33-052.exe
VST: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 33-052.dll
Command line: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 33-052.exe

Web interface is back!

For web interface, you can still use Bojcha's skin:
http://85.25.73.243/stereotool_skin_b2/

I'm not going to improve the looks of the web interface until there's a final design for the whole gui, then I'll try to make both look the same.

Done:
- Fix web interface. - Works. Looks ugly but usable for now. Waiting for final GUI design first.

Todo:
- Hide settings such as sound cards in plugin versions (Winamp bug fix) (Plug-in) (Normal input#2 LQLL sound cards)
- Move some settings to more logical positions. (Separate BS412 and Singleband compressor) (Move Stokkemask to FM) - made a copy and added 'required Loudness' to title (Simple Clipper / Advanced Clipper with checkbox for Loudness)
- Singleband RMS style settings broken
- Add warning when someone enabled FM sync.

Less urgent for usability:
- Design (several people are working on something)

For later:
- Add 'purpose based' view on settings (for example all settings that affect bass combined).
- Multi-language support
- Add basic/advanced modes
- Add '-6' '-12' etc. beside output bars where possible.
- Context sensitive Help (help button should be next to the preset buttons)
- Drag (resize window parts) lines, also between to/bottom part (scopes/meters).
- Confirm on close (stand alone version)

Luckily the spectrum here is clean. :) In my city there are 8 stations and you want to put repeaters are only 4-5 bentajas live in small towns of less than 15,000 inhabitants :D

on the optical fiber ...
What equipment should I buy? What if I need any special transmitter?
