I don't understand what you're saying. If I go back to Digital that just works, I don't have to open and close Misc for that. I can just leave it open and go back and forth.
It absolutely doesn't work for me that way. Maybe because I'm doing this in the DSP version?

No, that's the version I've done all the tests in. Can you describe step by step what you do and what happens?

ok, I'm not sure what happened... I went back and it would not let me select a compressor type if I clicked on any of the Band controls until I closed the Misc and reopened it, I did this about 4 times again just now but now here is the crazy part all of a sudden now it working correctly. I closed and reopened the Winamp but now I can't reproduce the problem. Argh, It wouldn't work correctly all last night but now it's working fine.
UPDATE: I switched to another Preset and the problem occurred again. I had saved a preset when the issue disappeared and that one clears the issue.

I had some checkbox funkiness I couldn't hammer out when trying to adapt an existing preset. I ended up doing a reset on the multiband 1 and worked from there. Perhaps importing and modifying an existing preset is not the best idea for the Adaptive MB yet? Might be best to copy/screenshot the settings (after ctrl shift + to open all cells) and manually enter them for now.

I just wanna say the ability to import/export individual modules by checkbox is so freakin handy. QOL and polish go a long way, IMO. The GUI is really coming together and I'm excited for more people to experience it.

Care to share a WIP preset? I'd love to hear this new adaptive compressor!

I dropped one in the discord. I have no skill in compressors whatsoever, so I didn't put it here, lmao. I'll let somebody else with talent in preset configuration do that.

Pardon the basic questions-

How do I obtain BETA095?
Will BETA095 install like a new version of Stereo Tool that can be evaluated?
Will it import 9.92 presets, reasonably intact?
Can 9.92 and BETA095 exist on one PC, authorized for Pro level, and one version can be used at a time, using the sound card?
Would it be better to wait for official release?

Also, please consider about my suggestion for input (post repair section) user adjustable bandpass filter, and a way to have user adjustable bandpass filter on the Multiband side chain.

Thank you.

Hi. So to obtain the latest betas, visit page 1 of this thread and grab the version you use. (Stand Alone, DSP, etc...)

You can install both at the same time without deauthorizing one. Just make sure to install the beta version in a different directory from the standard version, if using the Stand Alone. Or if using a plugin, name it something different than your current plugin (DLL, VST3, DSP).

Stereo Tool is intended to be fully backward compatible with existing presets, however this isn't always the case with betas. Especially when using something with a major overhaul like the new Adaptive Compressor. Like I mentioned a couple of posts back, it's best to rebuild the Multiband 1 if using the Adaptive Compressor for the moment.

Not sure I understand your question about the Sound Card. However, both versions can be authorized simultaneously for processing a single stream at a time.

Waiting for a final release is relative to your needs. If you run a station, it might be best to wait. But if you're a hobbyist, I can't see a reason not to dig in now. I like playing with the latest features as they come out, but I realize this isn't for everybody.

EDIT: @HVZ Ah okay, seeing Intellilimit now. Is this ready to be tested? I notice 096 was not posted to the main page. I was testing out the Limit/Clipper maximums when I realized it suddenly sounded very different from 095. Should I keep testing this one or wait til the front post is updated?

Thank you. I didn't think to look at the first post in the thread. oops!
Actually, you did answer my question about the sound card when you said both versions can co-exist on the same PC and share the sound card one version at a time.

How should we give feedback on the new adaptive compressor?
Should I give my preset and give a song that sounds bad to see what can be done?

I'm asking is because I don't want to turn this into tech support with the compressor?
