Ah. The "no restart" explains it. Stereo Tool works differently from most other processors; it works in blocks of a specific size. Change the start and end point of the blocks and it will come out differently (but you most likely won't hear any difference if you compare the outputs)

Ok, so why theres no difference in 512 and 1024 ? And what do you mean by comparing the outputs because thats is exactly what I did, I compared the outputs and there are clear differences.
Oh, and restarting Winamp doesnt solve anything btw.

may be in 2048 and 4096 , the oversampling may "change" this. This is only a guess. May be the lowest options are not using oversample

Hans,

The maximum upload size for your forum is 256kb for a single file, when I save a preset (all settings) the file is 301kb. So directly uploading to the forum isn't possible.

Try winzip or winrar.

Your preset must also contain PNR data then. Are you sure that you want to post that?

MP3s are always a multiple of 1152 samples. That's 1024+128. At lower latencies, there's a bigger chance that the end point coincides with a block in Stereo Tool. So I guess it's that.
