Excellent! The zoom is highly appreciated at 4k. Now to fill in the extra space by expanding all cells at the press of a button?
The processing overview page is an excellent first draft. I'm curious to see what others would like to add to it in terms of sliders. Is the pop-over the way it will remain implemented, or are you planning on moving it to its own page with all the meters visible? edit: added to new post |

On the Processing Overview overlay, would it be possible to right-click the effect toggle/name to be taken to the effect page itself, instead of it toggling the effect? Can we get per-LU incrementations on the ITU meter again, like the Levels meters? |

Okay, semi-major UI issue that requires 2 monitors with different Windows DPI scaling. 4k monitor at 200% dpi scaling as primary, extended to 1080p monitor at 100% scaling as secondary. Maximize then drag window from primary to secondary monitor or back. Window "dances" between monitors like it's trying to determine the proper scale and can't make up its mind. I dont think this happened on Beta 12. |

There are LOTS of hidden settings, so I don't know if this would help much. For example, the multiband compressor has 24 per-band settings in horizontal direction. And it still wouldn't show things in popups. Before we do stuff like this (and basically break the design idea), let's first see:- if there are settings that are missing that should be visible at all time and currently are not. - if it actually happens that someone is working on something and needs to have *multiple* sections expanded. (If so, that might mean that we didn't group things correctly, rather than that we need a way to open everything at once). Quote:

Me too! Still needs some cleaning up probably, there are quite a few sliders there now.Quote:

I think the way it's now makes more sense, because where would we put such a page? Although I can imagine that being able to see the top bar would be useful.Quote:

The list is identical to that in the left menu... So you can basically already do that (but without being able to see which things are turned on or off).Quote:

There are currently 2 types of vertical meters, those for 2 (stereo) values (typically used for compressors, clippers etc) which do have this and the ones for 1 value (sound card buffer, ITU1770, MPX level) which don't. But they need to get it as well. The upcoming build (tonight) will have them for horizontal displays, not yet for vertical ones in the meter bar. But that's coming.Quote:

BETA012 and earlier beta's had an issue where the window could move by a few pixels after restarts, and that was fixed in BETA013, together with some other DPI fixes. I assume that those fixes broke something else.4k monitor at 200% dpi scaling as primary, extended to 1080p monitor at 100% scaling as secondary. All fair points. Being able to click the meter and go to the filter should be good enough if they're going to be displayed with the overview toggles. I was just trying things out and wanted to note anything that I bumped up against; to help usability for folks who are coming from the previous GUI without changing anything fundamental. Thanks for explaining! |

It's TV Tool, it's R128, so nothing need to be right with ITU what you see. Ok, i'm wrong, there is reset button.

The EBU recommends the measurement of the average loudness of a programme (‘Programme Loudness’) for the normalisation of audio signals. (page 3)Until now, we've supported what the standard says: programme loudness. You can reset the metering history if you want to measure from anything other than the start of your programme. We'll consider implementing other live mode metering ("momentary" and/or "short-term" loudness, as specified here) Your feedback on this metering is noted, no further need for comments on the matter. |
