That's easy to do: just turn up some sliders and voila.

About the latest beta? Why can't I fill in a hostname instead of a IP in the stream encoder?

I don't think such things should be available to unskilled and unqualified persons.

Well, there's a point to be made there. On the other hand, if you've worked with Optimods, you understand the frustration of not being able to "fine tune" the machines, because the manufacturer felt such flexibility was too dangerous to be placed in the hands of "unskilled and unqualified persons". Instead of a plethora of detailed sliders to work with, we got "Less-More".

Better, I think, that the product has been released as Hans has done it. Those who take the time to understand, and study, and work with this thing in a professional manner can get a really great sound out of it that no other processor on the market can come close to.

In the areas I've placed the software, the station is easily as loud, with a sound you can stay with for hours. Compared to most others here, these stations immediately stand out, more for being open and loud (enough) than loud, clipped and strident. Hans really has done a great job.

For most, the drive to be loudest disappeared in the mid-70s... and certainly after we all went to digital radios. Maybe that's something else to consider... The star of this thread may be operating in a country where all the radios still have analog tuners.

I think that i ve found a " usual suspect " of loss on dynamics on this " high loudness " preset i ve made.

Keys : stereo enhancing was out of strict control. = fixed
limiters on multiband2 where ...out of control = fixed

Thanks for your feedback!

I ve made something better and still extremely loud ( on FM broadcast )

11,5 dbr at most songs and with dynamics and no audible compressors !

Your triggering made me better ! Thanks!

check it to see if it is better , but do not trust only 1 or 2 songs !

Hi,

Basically what the text says. If the AGC, on average (over a long period of time) does almost nothing, this message will pop up. The reason is that I've heard several stations that were feeding their audio at something like -24 dB, just selected some built-in preset, and that was it. Since none of the presets will boost the input by 24 dB, the AGC will do nothing at all (and the multibands won't do much either). And the result is a very soft and very non-consistent sound.

Do you think that in your case the message is invalid? Then I might have made it too sensitive...

Were you doing something (adjusting settings?) or did it just happen with no apparent reason? (The numbers point to the first MB compressor, so it must be caused there or before it).
