the silence is deafening... will we make it a full month with no beta release??
I'll post something tomorrow morning!![]() Some things have been broken for a while so we couldn't post beta's. The whole preset loading/saving behavior is re-implemented and should work much better and more granular than before, and the processing preset name in the top bar is back (that should make many people happy ![]() The new compressor design is progressing, but it's taking a lot of time. It's really complex. With 10-12 hour days I'm averaging about 4 lines of code a day (plus a lot of pages with analysis of what's happening and why in a Word document). There's one major issue that needs to be solved, and one missing feature that really needs to be supported before I can post a public beta. |

Awesome!! I was mostly being silly. I know you all are working your butts off. Thanks for the update!
I know! But it has really been a while. It's pretty rare for us to not have beta versions here for this long.

I must also admit to checking back here often. Looking forward to seeing what you've been working on! |

Okay, this is pretty amazing. Super shoutouts to Tom! It is a fantastic implementation of skinning. Kermit Green lives! Now to spend time tweaking it. On the VST3x64 in Reaper, I'm now able to see the Title Bar Color value count up as I move the mouse around and then stop. edit: Video in the discord edit2: testing out Relay. Is it a bug that even if the Relay function is disabled, (and even I have a basic ST key entered) the output is still unusable? I figured it would at least work as a zero-processing audio-routing app like Stereo Tool does even in free mode. Or is there another software Thimeo has for this? Also I have some DM's waiting to leave my outbox. What triggers them to be sent? The recipient logging in as visible? |

It should be usable without a license (a Stereo Tool license won't work). But what do you mean by "the output"? It outputs a loud beep, and RDS commands.

I see. This was a misunderstanding on how it worked on my part. I was under the impression if the Relay function was disabled, the beep would not sound and it would pipe out what it was given using a chosen API. For example, if I needed to take an ASIO input and output it through MME. ![]() |

Hans, I would appreciate clarification of bandpass filtering in Stereo Tool. In 9.92 where in the chain is the bandpass filter? Does bandpass filter location in the chain remain the same for all I/O modes- FM, AM, streaming? Could a user adjustable bandpass filter be available for at the front end or after the de-clipper? The existing equalizer works well as it is for later in the chain. The existing bandpass filter pop-up description implies the bandpass filter is necessary for FM to deal with harmonics from the clipper. This seems odd, because wouldn't a low pass filter be integrated into the FM clipper? AM mode has option for low pass filter, is this integrated with the AM clipper or is it another way to control the bandpass filter? Are the AM and FM clipper different designs? Not meaning to be difficult with the questions. Thank you for developing Stereo Tool. |
