| Quote: Quote: URGENT Again , even with beta 72 , it plays sound message every 4 hours ( only sound message, not text on stereotool instance ) The pre previus beta i had was 65 and DID NOT HAVE SOUND MESSAGES . So, practicaly , the problem happened OR at 66 , or 67 or 68 or 69 or 70 or 71(tested problem) or 72(tested problem) 72 and 71 tested with the problem , so check 66 67 68 69 70 URGENT How often? | |

| I have reproduced it here, not sure yet why this is happening, so I'm adding logging. | |

| Hey Hans, I asked this a while back, but I didn't get an answer. What is "DB Style" in the AGC? | |

| Those 4 hours might be triggered by something in Camclone's key, I'm not sure yet. (It's definitely something weird). DB Style: There are 2 different Ratio modes, dB style behaves differently. In dB style, if you would get 10 dB of reduction and ratio is 2:1, you'll get 5 dB instead. Without dB style, it drops deeper than that (similar to how the other compressors work). | |

| Well, I can tell you that I haven't touched the code that is failing now for months, if not years. So far it's just really odd, it could even be something crazy like a compiler bug... (I've already noticed that as soon as I add logging, the problem is gone!) Edit: I'm pretty sure that I found it. If Mathijs hadn't had nearly exactly the same bug in µMPX a few months ago I could have been searching for a very long time... (@Mathijs if you're reading this: Remember that shift with more than 32 bits? Apparently sometimes it *does* do what you expected, but not always, and it depends on how the compiler optimises). Edit #2: Yes, fixed. Weird... Will run a new build asap. Edit #3: New build is running. I'm going home... Will probably post the new version before I go to bed. | |
