I don't think there's any need for 5 interface modes, maybe 2 or 3 will do.
+1
Will keep the 5 modes for now, and later check the differences between the modes to determine if some can be removed. When describing the different modes I had difficulty describing the difference between Advanced and Expert so it probably makes sense to combine those.

Simple mode is useful for people who really don't know what they are doing.
Basic mode should be good for the average user who knows other audio processors and quickly wants to get started with Stereo Tool.
Advanced and Expert... I don't know.
Extreme Tweaker - contains settings that normal people should never need to use, people have already suggested hiding these settings behind a password. Contains things like multiband band frequencies and steepness etc.

Hans,

I agree with you.

paragraphic is much more simple and intuitive

PS. bass boost, no longer needed, with the equalizer, much better results and no artifacts.

It doesn't do the same thing as the equalizer - but I think the Bass Shape section in the clipper does a much better job than Bass Boost, so it might indeed be a candidate for removal.

As for EQ.. now with better scale it's bit difficult to 'draw' shape for lower frequencies.
3 or 4 bands are more then enough..
One of simplest PEQ but also very good quality with fully phase linear is http://www.liquidsonics.com/software_filtrate.htm
3 sliders per band (as any other PEQ)
With this EQ i can even make awesome HPF :)

Hans,
I tried to advanced clipper - bass shape, no good result, rather well with eq. (see photo)

Bojcha , Hans know what is the problem ..
I always use the RMS option. But you said was fixed. No it`s not.
Both Monitor option in MB and Bass Boost with Difference presents this "blop blop"
In different songs this "blop" is different bad :)

And yeah there is from 39 to 40 beta increase about 5-6 % CPU power. But from beta without new MB to now it`s about 10-12% at all.

Well... i almost don't hear it with RMS (beta039).. also it actually has bit less artifacts then listening on monitor.

No, because internally I would still have to convert it to a graph like this - with yes same issues. Do you need steeper slopes for low frequencies?
