I received more complaints about the DST 2 weeks ago but couldn't reproduce it. I tested with the 32 bit version so that might be it (very strange though).
Yes, that was me. Tested ST on XP and indeed 32 bit works well on that. At Vista I use the 64 bit and I have problems with the time in there. I thought it's a Vista problem, but now it could be different. The Mac version has the same problem and indeed that's 64 bit also ;)

Hi Edgar,
I have W7 64bit, and does not recognize DST! I have to configure the Windows Time in Spain, but I'm in Portugal :(
So RDS time is right, but the PC time is wrong (+ 1h)

My 32 bit system works fine. I'm in Portugal as well and RDS time it's fine.

I agree with Hans that some things must be removed - like all old or deprecated stuff , even to clean the code if you like to say it that way.
I just not understand for what limiters we talking about - those "hidden" in the MB or something with the new Pre-limiter?

I think the Diff option in the new Pre-limiter is causing some weird signals when checked . Check with some generator with single frequencies. Move them around and see ...
Below 2 Khz , there is some signal in the MPX spectral scope that not moving if i move the frequency down . And above 2 Khz there are some spurs apear around the diff-ed signal ?

Hans' explanation of new the multiband limiter situation makes sense. I thought it was weird that the limiters themselves would be placed before the compressor, but now I know that isn't the case. It just wasn't worded so well at first.

After having listened for a few days, I think it's a massive improvement. The multiband compressor section sounds extremely stable. Now that I've tuned the limiter thresholds a bit, I'm seeing a very reasonable amount of limiting in the bands, too.

I haven't had time yet to test it (too busy with preparations for the IBC), but multiple people have now said that it's a big improvement. The good news is: I might be able to make some more changes in the same direction :) but that will be after the IBC (and THAT will have to be switchable to not break existing presets).

Hi Hans

Where can i found the ST's block diagram?
I would like to know the entire sound path of ST. Particularly where stays the pre-emphasis.

I have one instance processing FM and stream. To the stream I am using the Normal Output. But I fear that this output come after the pre-emphasis.

By the way, nice job you have done. ST goes in the right way. With all contributions you will make a great sound processor :D
Thank you

Hi,

I use that output, config like that but... separately processed input stream, for me, don't tell enough information.
Help page tell me "Separate clipping and limiting for the stream." Ok ... and ...

To take advantage of all software I still like to know the block diagram of the StereoTool.
That's a precious information.

Thank you

Well ya, it does make sense, but in the initial change log, the way he wrote it it sounded like something from the Bizarro World.
