Hello, I started using the latest DCM a few days ago. Just wondered, is the Auto-EQ, Auto Bass EQ and Natural Dynamic supposed to be disabled in this preset? In addition, it was necessary to increase the Drive of MB1 to eliminate a feeling of pumping. I find it hard to imagine that this would be necessary in such a well thought out preset. Because I must say for the rest, compliments!

Yes, these modules are disabled in this preset.
Did your AGC have enough headroom?

Hi Mathijs,

I'm not so into the 'terms' of audio processing yet. How do I affect the headroom in the AGC?

It needs room to 'move'. If the input is already very soft and the AGC is completely released, we call that "not enough headroom" (this can also be done on purpose but let's ignore that for now). In that case the input should be increased in level before it hits the AGC. This can be done in the AGC itself (pre-amp) or in the input settings. Or you could boost the whole signal before it enters Stereo Tool, but then you have to make sure it never clips on the input.

Clearly. I'm going to experiment with it for a while.

I have now adjusted the preset to my satisfaction. For your information, the adjusted settings:

AGC Drive: +30db
Multiband 1: +13.50 db
Advanced Clipper: Non-FM Loudness: -3.00 db
