There are many people who run Stereo Tool who haven't restarted for over 2 years. So one week is really bad. I would guess that something is wrong with your system (even if you use it for other things, a week is pretty short).
![]() Just mention it. It appears only if lets say a week is not restarted . Yes i`m doing other things on the same machine but it is only tesing one ![]() |

Quote: Will you be releasing an VSTx64 version soon? My Audition CC 2014 doesn't accept any x32 anymore (even with jBridge)
The 026 contains a 64-bit VST build. And I expect to be able to release the new version in a day or 2 (there are 3 people who reported bugs that I *really* want to fix first, I think I've fixed 2 now but am still waiting for feedback from them).

I run explorer with 280 subwindows opened , and this consumes a lots of memory , so 1 week is too long for this type of work ![]() ![]() Also my windows is about 5 years old now ![]() If no explorer opened, i can use it months without problem . No worry , everything is normal . |

Talking about running ST for a long time, any system that does not have ECC memory and redundant disk system (like RAID1 for example) WILL crash sooner or later. Its not a question of IF but WHEN will it crash. I used to be in IT and I have seen over and over of people not using proper equipment, then not knowing why it doesn't work. You run a radio station? great. Then run ST on a proper server. Not a laptop or a recycled box from home. Sorry for the rant but this is one that gets under my skin. Especially when my job used to be duck-taping it all back together for people who refused to learn. Even worse when you have developers pulling their hair out why their product crashes on the client's system only to find out later they had bad RAM in there. |

After about 3 days, if it is plugged in (even without using ST it causes a system crash). The second culprit is my nvidia video card, certain update drivers don't get along with the software I use, and once it was the fault of my Power Supply going bad, I was getting the BSOD while using ST. So I have to agree with VTOLfreak about it could be hardware problems and not just your software. |

With the latest Winamp/DSP plugin Beta, I get a window that crashes/freezes and I can't adjust anything. It's still processing the sound however, but I can't interact with StereoTool at all. If I revert back to 7.50 all is well again. Cheers, Tim |

Always or sometimes? If always, can you send me your .ini file (C:\Users\<your_user_name>\dsp_stereo_tool.ini)?It's still processing the sound however, but I can't interact with StereoTool at all. If I revert back to 7.50 all is well again. Cheers, Tim O and is this only with the latest?? If it happens occasionally after a few hours, I might have a fix for that - someone at the ERT (Greek public radio) was having that problem (he gets a gray screen and cannot do anything anymore) and is testing a fix now. That's the stand alone version but I can run a DSP build if you want. |

I see some generating in the Prelimiter I test with single frequencies and there is signal generating. If needed i can make a video to show you. Generating is more when bands goes to "more" .. Needs to be checked . |

I can try some if you want me to though? Thanks! Tim |

Fortunately it locks up here immediately as well. So, I can start to investigate it. Thanks!
