@DJ Doggy

The multiband "DRIVE" parameter is used in all professional broadcast processors.
Since Hans has rewritten the multiband, and his attemt to compete against a HW based machine in the future it seems only logic to slowly change parameter names and even place in signal path.

The parameter "pre amp" and "post amp" however, are not used in any professional processor as far as i know so i will not be surprised when it's gone or renamed in the future.

Jeroen.
Jeroen ben je zelf al bezig met de nieuwe multiband?
Ben benieuwd of je een update van de big o preset wil delen in 5 bands modus?

I must tell you that you are not right . If you want to have AGC you MUST have some pre amplifier . The only option is to amplify before regulate.. I must tell you that i saw in many transmitters ( inside ) a manual POSTamp .. builded in few fixed steps ( 0 db , -3 db, -6 db , -9 db ) So i don`t know how professional devices you are looking at , but...Pre and Post amps are just right putted on the ST.But Drive is amplifing all signal for me ( that is what i see for now) but i think that this Drive must amplify the signal only on the input of the MB and not allow this amplified signal to reach the Advanced clipper . Look when you set the drive to the max or a higher value.... the Adv clipper is goin crazy ?!?! This must not happen . Adv Clipper is far after the MB in the scheme for FM processing or normal processing. The idea of the MB must be to regulate the amplitude-frequency characteristic as necessary.That is why we have thres option in the MB. We can set it above 0db like you see . So the Drive and Output must operate just like the Preamp for AGC and postamp for the whole output... BUT ONLY FOR THE MB .

Drive is right word.. but most accurate word is "input Gain" and "Output Gain" Drive" is modern word ;)
One of may words in processing marketing world.

Anyway .. anyone wants to test preset with beta35 ? :)

ok, after some long tuning "xovers" (or crossovers? hm.. ) .. found 7 bands nice. (kinda between 5 standard and 10)... came up with ...

Still tuning as we speak..
ow, and turn on de-clipper (if you want) and phase rotator.

That is displayed - they light up brighter, same as clipping in the old MB.
Strange they are working now with the preset from Bojcha that i'm testing. Before it didn't displayed them.
Found it: It's not displayed with samplerate of 192 kHz.

BUG REPORT: When I play mono wav files with the winamp DSP version I hear a very loud buzz and severe distortion. I don't know if the same happens for other mono files.
