I've been using this tool very recently, I'm surprised how it has been improving over the years, the new interface is very awesome and nice, its sound is the best and very powerful.
Great! But version 8.00 should actually be consuming more resources than the latest version, not less...
I am currently using v8.00 because my PC is not that powerful and the latest versions consume a lot of resources, it would not hurt to further optimize resource consumption without affecting sound quality or to have a lite version without so many options . The only thing I'm using is the AGC, bass boost and multiband compressor with simple clipper for a constant level of volume throughout my PC and it works great for personal use for Youtube, Streaming, Music, Games, etc. Thanks for this tool. ![]() My processor is an i3 3120m, 6gb of ram and intel graphics 4000. The old versions consume less but being very old I don't use them. I just tested that here (couldn't find version 8.00 quickly, so I tested with version 8.40 vs the latest). I loaded a heavy FM preset with composite clipper and Stokkemask etc in version 8.40, and the CPU usage was 15.8% of one core. Then I opened version 9.92 without changing any settings, and the CPU usage was 14.1% - so an 11% reduction, relatively. I would expect a similar difference on a 3rd gen i3, since we still have optimized code paths for that hardware. The memory usage did indeed go up, from 182 to 452 MB. The new GUI version uses about 130 MB extra memory, but the CPU usage for the processing is the same. |

Then this is your opportunity to share your opinion on the most important settings rather than declaring a deal breaker. That's what this thread is about; conditioning the new GUI to be something people desire more.
Deal breaker for me. Only the user can decide what "the most important settings" are. |

I don't like tray icon, should be something purple, like GUI. |

Dear developer and other support team: I have been thinking about all this that you have done on the new web interface and now I will give you my opinion as well as a proposal of what should be done for now in this situation where you have created a new web interface where we have and advantages and disadvantages. In order to make things easier for yourself until everything is sorted out properly, my suggestion is to make it possible to use both the new and the old web interface as the final or two final versions, so that people can choose how and what they want to use. Reading all these posts, some people like one more and some the other. You, who are the creators of a complete application, cannot tell others that this is better, so they will use this until you get used to it. I had the same situation in my former Kalman radio station, which I sold. I had the same situation when we changed the broadcaster software. It was very difficult for people to switch from the then software raduga to radio boss. So keep in mind that if people get used to one thing, it's difficult to switch to another, and my advice to you is to switch everything you do software-wise gradually, leaving the possibility of previous variants. As you improve the new web interface, gradually get people used to the new web interface. That way, to your satisfaction and ours, it will be better for both you and us. Greetings from Sarajevo. Hello congratulations for the version 10, a question would not be possible a screen with meters to be as a disassembly in rack? type only the meters of what has been activated and is working... ![]() |

The AGC wideband appears indented and seems to have its 0db start at the -1db location.
Fixed. Turns out the spacer after the meter was too large.Quote:
ah, it looks nice but at first glance I noticed it won't accept input for lic or save a preset (back to entering my lic in the ini file) [using Adobe Audition]
This has been a problem plaguing VST plugins for some time now...To remedy this, we added context menu items to copy/paste from the clipboard Quote:
als ik ST afsluit en de pc opnieuw opstart krijg ik steeds het standaard scherm er voor.. het onthoudt niet hoe het stond
This should just work, since ST saves its last state (including currently visible page) and loads that state at startup.Translation: When I close ST and reboot the PC, the home page comes up instead of the last visited page Does it remember all the other settings? Or does everything reset to factory default? (Vertaling: Worden alle andere settings wel onthouden? Of reset alles naar hoe het was bij het nieuw installeren van ST?) If at all possible, please keep feedback and questions here in English. Quote:

I agree, will try to modernize it a bit.Quote:

Do you mean you want an overview with meters for all enabled filters?![]() That is a planned feature. |

Nice! Earlier you mentioned considering a Microphone preset section as well. Is that still something you're considering? If not, could we get the Syrtho prest back? It's the default free preset I recommend to people when pointing them to ST for mics, and it's been missing since the updated preset manager premiered.

Ah yes, we're planning to add Microphone and RDS sections. In the meantime: you can export the syrtho preset as an .sts file from the old interface. Those files can then be imported into the new one. |
