Oh... ok in that case for some reason the OBS host wanted to reset its stored VST settings when i updated from 066 to 072, even though it was a file replacement..? After quitting and starting OBS again with 072 it kept my previous settings after all.

It looks like it works now, the file that's written is 180 kB instead of 8. I'm running a new build, it will automatically be uploaded as BETA075 once the build is ready (in about 4-5 hours).

I ran into a problem with the newgui VST2 64 992-053 in Virtual DJ 8.5 b7131.
Only the first time opening the newgui works fine. The next time it opens with a white screen without content. I can move the mouse, at some places the arrow changes in pointer, but that's it.

After opening another VST followed by opening the newgui again gives me the normal gui, but again just for once.
Just tested with vst_stereo_tool_newgui_64_BETA992-075.dll, problem I had is not there anymore.

I've been using this tool very recently, I'm surprised how it has been improving over the years, the new interface is very awesome and nice, its sound is the best and very powerful.
I am currently using v8.00 because my PC is not that powerful and the latest versions consume a lot of resources, it would not hurt to further optimize resource consumption without affecting sound quality or to have a lite version without so many options .
The only thing I'm using is the AGC, bass boost and multiband compressor with simple clipper for a constant level of volume throughout my PC and it works great for personal use for Youtube, Streaming, Music, Games, etc. Thanks for this tool. ;)

Tom Evers, the lead designer of the new user interface, has written a blog post about the thoughts behind the changes, and what the current state of the new GUI is. It also contains a lot of before-and-after images:
https://www.thimeo.com/blog/beta-testing-the-new-gui/
"We completely revamped our way of showing settings to users. Each filter has a single page, showing only the most important settings."

Deal breaker for me.

Only the user can decide what "the most important settings" are.

Everything is still available; the old GUI became more and more crowded and harder to use - or maintain. But we didn't remove anything (well, a few, out of the over 8000 settings).

Great! But version 8.00 should actually be consuming more resources than the latest version, not less...

Hello, hvz actually consumes around 230mb, 290mb of ram in v8.00 and about 6-12% of cpu while the latter consumes up to 600mb of ram and between 20 and 40% of cpu I guess on a computer more current would consume less.

My processor is an i3 3120m, 6gb of ram and intel graphics 4000.
The old versions consume less but being very old I don't use them.
