@bob: Installed Reaper, but what do I do to open the VST plugin? Do I need to make some music first, etc? Could you please tell me step-by-step what to do?

Open up Reaper and on the left hand side double click on the blank track control panel,This will create a track then click on the fx button.Reaper will scan the program for plugins.Stereo tool will most probably not be there so you have to create a path for Reaper to access the plugin so go to Reaper "Options"(top of the screen) scroll down to "preferences"click on preferences and a box will open with all the prefernecs.Scroll down to Plugins in the left of the box then click on VST you thenhave a number of choices you could try auto detect but the best bet is click on "add" you can then add the folder/location of the stereo tool dll.Once Reaper has found it go back to your main screen and click on the fx button.Stereo tool should then show up in the list of plugins.Double click on stereotool and it should open sort of.

ps there are tons of videos on youtube if you get stuck,

Basically, I want Purity Control to be softer, but not by 5 dB
All the generic presets are (roughly) equally loud! Because for normal listening volume doesn't matter anyway, the only thing that should be important is how it sounds....
It's the "roughly" part...

I've got an update for Cobalt, but I haven't yet looked into changing AGC / Singleband / Loudness settings. IMO, the Singleband setting is too aggressive if you remove loudness, but I'm not absolutely sure yet.

Sounds like there are some coding changes, so there's a little time, right? I'll try to work on this today.

@hvz: In the download section of the ST site says "LATEST VERSION AVAILABLE: 6.32" instead of 7.00. :)

Hans I´ve been testing the previous beta versions to see when it stopped working in Reaper. The last working Beta was Beta 633-053A.Beta 633-054 onwards do not function. All Betas before 633-054 work properly ie I can use the UI

VST: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 33-054.dll
Command line: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 33-054.exe

For web interface, you can still use Bojcha's skin:
http://85.25.73.243/stereotool_skin_b2/

Done:
- Check GUI hangups reported by Brian and DJ_DOGGY. I hope it's gone now - please let me know your experiences!
- Fix loading Loudness settings

TODO:
- Check Iconify behavior (Brian)
- Remove MUSTBEFREED stuff that causes a small memory allocation and release for each mouse move.
- Singleband RMS style display broken
- Add warning when someone enables FM sync.
- Fix AGC startup on preset loading
- Red bar doesn't get back to green Not reproduced so far but I put a force redraw on color changes.
- Check STS file saving
- Limit Post Amp to 1
- Mouse lock doesn't work on some systems
- De-emphasis doesn't seem to switch between 50 and 75 us To be tested
- Right click for default value
- Wrong last loaded preset shown on startup (the previous one); saved presets are not added to recent presets
- Fix MB clipper sliders to 0 error.

Not that I know of........... Just looked at the code and it says the same as before: Every 12 hours for either FM or Loudness, and if you use both every 4 hours.
Can you send me your settings?

Caching issue - it's an iframe and for some reason it doesn't easily get reloaded (depening on the browser).
