I'm testing with stereo tool and MPX tool now via Virtual Audio Cable. I notice differences between stand alone version and winamp version when using FM output. Ah i see it's because Sample rate is different. It's also on stand alone version. With 192000 all the levels are correct, with 176400, pilot level is lower and RDS is lower. Why are you using sample rate of 176400 for the winamp version and not 192000? I'm going to test now with the transmitter to see if it's because of VAC and MPX tool. Yes via transmitter the levels stay the same. Strange now it's also ok via VAC and MPX tool. Also ok with winamp now. It was probably something with VAC or MPX tool then i think. |

When i use your suggested settings, from what i hear than stereo tool is the softest. When you lower the loudness the difference get's even bigger. |

@ Eldorado: When using ST at 192 and 176.4kHz VAC must be fixed at 32bit. @Hans: For demo recording, first you must decide what sound you want to present Dynamic, Loud, or whatever... Yesterday I made preset based on O.11 to see is possible to make similar but without some distortion present in O.11 demo (like track at 06:15.) Attachment: Loudness can be any number from x1.40 to x2.22 (x1.60 is nice) |

Ok, I haven't been able yet to check the others. That would not be good...

@Bojcha: Ok, will check it tonight. Does this mean that your new preset sounds BETTER than the Addiction, or just similar to the O.11? Before you wrote this - not very positive - comment about the O.11: Quote: 3. Omnia.11 - Little strange to me - depend on preset - but sometimes bass is so loud that dominates the over rest of sound, even over very loud mid-highs/high. And in some cases bass is low, like in deep punch. I think it can be tweaked much better.

Bojcha, After comparing Stereo Tool with your preset against Omnia 11 and Omnia 9, the biggest issue I have with my own tool is the handling of 'S' sounds. So I want to lower the deesser setting in Loudness. Around 60-65 sounds better than the current value - and it seems to have relatively little effect on the total audio. I'm setting it to 62.40... Edit: Hm, that's indeed a bit low. Now setting it to 70. |

i already made some settings (lowering last sliders and small boost to mid-lows) Anyway ... much less Loud S distortion then in Omnia.11. Yes, De-Esser helps a lot here. btw, there is still bug for turning OFF "Prevent Artiffacts" in MB. |
