Works on my Phenom II like a charm. No issues yet. ![]() |

Please note: This ONLY affects Pentium 3's! That is, if you get a warning during installation that the non-SSE2 version is installed. Otherwise there is NO difference AT ALL! |

Hi Hans, Did you ever test stereotool on a atom netbook with a N270? Or maybe any other freak who has tested it? |

I don't have - or have access to - an Atom netbook, so I cannot test it - have to rely on others here... I did test the Pentium 3 version on a (very) old Pentium 3, and it didn't crash, but the CPU load was insanely high which made it completely unusable - with everything disabled, quality High and screen refresh rate High the CPU load was already around 80%. Reducing screeen refesh rate helped a lot to my surprise - I'll look into that, it could be that some unnecessary processing or screen updates are being done. With quality at its lowest and screen refresh rate to 0 (CPU load around 20-25%), just enabling Multiband also increased it to over 90%. (Maybe some faster Pentium 3's could use the new version, but for mine it's completely useless). By the way, I also did some quick tests on my old Pentium 4 (on which I created and tested all Stereo Tool versions upto 3.something), and it seemed that the CPU load is varying quite a lot. I could get it to run on the Pentium 4, with everything enabled, at a CPU load near 50%, which is quite good (in fact similar to the CPU load of the early 3.1x versions, but with FAR more processing enabled and at a higher quality than before). Did anyone else experience wildly varying CPU loads when switching filters off and then back on? |

The "VISIT SITE" button was being redrawn at every screen update. Fixed, upload coming soon. (Should not make a lot of difference, except on extremely slow pc's). |

This seems to be all for now (cleaning up action), so I'm going to release this version now. |
